Get Started with Pathful Explore
- Create your account - To access Pathful Explore you will first Create an Account HERE using your CMU email address.
- Log in - Visit the Pathful Explore Login page
- Be sure to select Connecting Colorado - Mesa as your license.
- You will use the Students/Users portal.
- Enter your username and password.
- Start Exploring - Watch this Pathful Explore Overview Video for a brief introduction to the resources available.
Career Assessments
Career assessment results help you discover the careers that best match your interests and values. Each assessment in Pathful Explore will link to a specific group of Career Profiles based on your chosen results.
- From the top toolbar, select Assessments.
- Select Start New to the right of the chosen assessment to begin.
Academic Majors and Program Sheets
Explore different programs at Colorado Mesa; learn about graduation requirements; and find information about different career fields associated with specific programs. All CMU students are encouraged to explore all the programs which are offered.
Presented by the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Occupational Outlook Handbook is a nationally recognized source of career information, designed to assist individuals with making decisions about their future careers. Revised every two years, the Handbook describes what workers do on the job, working conditions, the training and education needed, earnings, and expected job prospects in a wide range of occupations.
The official job site for the United States Federal Government, you can use USAJOBS to find jobs that are best suited for you based on your interests. You can even investigate jobs that include tasks you like to do. When you indicate the kinds of tasks you prefer, you will be matched to jobs available in the government. This list contains some of the most common occupations in the Federal government. All job postings have descriptions and minimum qualifications listed.
Use this free, online resource to find detailed occupation information including descriptions, education and training, wage information, and employment trends. Search for information by using keywords, and browsing by job families, or descriptions. You can also assess your skill areas to find matching occupations
